Hardangerbonden
On the east side of Sørfjorden in Hardanger lies Sekse. The Hardanger Farmer
(Hardangerbonden) Ingrid, the farm helper Bård, the oldest girl and heir Ida, and the youngest
girl Tuva live here.
On the farm, they grow apples that are processed in the cidery. The cidery is in the middle of
the yard, and this is where all of the production happens.
Lofthus Sideri
Lofthus Sideri are four neighbouring farms in Lofthus that together aim to make great apple juice and cider. We grow our apples on steep, sunny slopes facing the southwest. This, combined with good soil and an ideal climate with long summer days, gives our apples the sweet and acidic taste that is so important in a good apple juice, and of course, a good cider.
Kvestad Sideri
Below the Folgefonna glacier in Hardanger lies Kvestad Sideri. Kvestad is located approx. 220 meters above sea level, and apples and cider have been produced here for generations.
The cider originates from farms 2 and 3 at Kvestad. We welcome guests for tours and cider tastings, and we share the history of both farms.
Fjordfolk Mikrobryggeri
Fjordfolk Mikrobryggeri lies in Sandefjord, and our cider series has been named “Tall Ship Craft Cider”. The brewery’s pub is located in Framnes shipyard where they have built the tall ship Christian Radich.
Dyre Gård
Dyre Gård is located on Raet, which lies in Moss municipality in Østfold and is the most famous moraine in Norway. Raet was deposited at the edge of the ice by the Scandinavian ice sheet about 12,500 years ago, providing the perfect soil conditions for producing apples.
Fuglestein fruktgård
At Fuglestein Fruktgard, we have since 2016 planted an apple orchard with 17,000 trees. In 2021 we started pressing apples, and offer various apple products and activities for visitors/tourists.
Buhagen
We are two families of farmers at Skiftun in Hjelmeland who sell our products under the brand name Buhagen. The farms are located down by the fjord, with a short distance to the mountains.
Hardanger Saft og Siderfabrikk
Hardanger Saft og Siderfabrikk is a traditional fruit farm with a large production of apple juice and cider. The family farm is situated on a south-facing slope with the ideal climate for fruit farming. In the old days, there were apples, pears, plums, and sweet cherries at Lekve, but today we only grow apples.
Åkre gard
Arita and Gjermund Åkre are 12th-generation fruit farmers. They run two fruit farms, one at Måge and one at Åkre. Fruit is the foundation in their production of juices, cider and fruit distillates, and they focus on bringing out the unique, intense, and correct flavours from the fruit.
Eiane Gard
On the north side of the Jøsenfjord lies the idyllic Eiane Gard (Eiane Farm), a place with the will to create a future renewal and openness, where people can meet and form new relationships. Cider, food, art and culture is an important part of the experience at our farm.
