Utne Hotel

Utne hotel anno 1722 er Noregs eldste freda trehotell som kontinuerleg har vore i drift i 300 år. Det heile starta i 1722 som eit gjestgiveri med stove, kjøken, gang og eit soverom.
Å bu på Utne hotel er som å kome heim til bestemor med sine florlette blondegardiner og knirkande golv og senger. Her opplever du ein unik atmosfære, midt i hjartet av Hardangers kulturarv og naturopplevingar.

When Bjørn Torsetnes inherited the farm, he and his business partner June Vestavik saw the opportunity to develop a unique product based on the farm’s old traditions. When the days grow shorter and the yellow light shines on the hillside, the apples are ready for harvesting. On my farm, I have Gravenstein, Discovery and Aroma. These varieties are perfectly suited for cider, each bringing its own unique quality. When they are sweet enough, I pick them carefully and press them into apple juice.
