Mjødurt (Filipendula ulmaria) is a delicate plant with small white flowers, releasing a sweet, floral aroma from early summer to early autumn. Anikonic Mjødurt is a semi-dry white fruit wine made from selected Williams pears and hand-harvested meadowsweet growing wild in Østre Torp, just outside Drøbak.
The wine shows a complex aromatic profile with notes of juicy Williams pear, beeswax, and ripe lemon zest. Well balanced between acidity and sweetness, with a long, elegant finish.
