SKARBØ GARD

At Skarbø Gard (Skarbø Farm), Kristine and Carlos create unforgettable flavour experiences based on long traditions and solid craftsmanship.

Kristine is the eighth generation at the farm at Stranda, and Carlos brings his knowledge and heritage from Andalucía in Spain. Together with the older and younger generations at the farm, we manage the farm sustainably and holistically with both animals and plants. Fruit was an important part of the farm in the last century, and now we are replanting the orchards closest to the fjord with apples.

Skarbø is also home to 20 cows, and from their fresh milk we make artisanal cheese that goes perfectly with our cider.

Visitors to the farm are often served tapas with our own cheese and other local food treasures, together with delicious cider and juice. Our cider is a natural product, made without sulphites and with spontaneous fermentation. We like diversity and use fresh fruit from many old apple varieties. This way, we create a unique cider that reflects nature and the landscape that surrounds us.

We look forward to continuing to create unique products of high quality, and to share them with you!
