"Cider from Hardanger" made with kveik (traditional yeast). A cider made from the wonderful apples of Hardanger (Discovery, Aroma, Gravenstein, varies from year to year), but with a traditional yeast that has been passed down through the generations. The yeast is from Hardanger, and goes further back than 1979, when it came to the neighbouring village. Originally from Jordal in Odda, but of unknown age. "Kårkall" is more complex than the usual "57/2" and goes well with heavier foods.
