DUGNAD is made from apples from Heim and Aure. The word “dugnad” means voluntary work done together by a group of people. It has received its name as a thank you to the generous people who allow us to harvest their apples, and others who have given us invaluable help.
We have picked, ground, pressed and fermented, with the apples' own wild yeast and without additives.
Norwegian traditional foods, such as mutton and cabbage stew, meat soup and pork ribs, are perfect with this cider; but otherwise it has the same uses as a full-bodied white wine or beer. The cider is completely dry with high acidity.
