Bugarden is located in the middle of lush Solør, which is one of the largest areas in Norway for grain and potatoes. Bugarden was established in 1947. Today it is Ole Albert Eig who runs the farm.

Here on the farm, there has been a long tradition of making homemade wine; my grandparents made wine in the 40s and 50s. We started with simple attempts at winemaking in the autumn of 2015, which developed into professional winemaking and cider production as it is today. In addition to producing apples ourselves, we have a berry reception in the autumn. Today, we have 600 apple trees spread over 19 varieties.
