Sandalen Gård (Sandalen Farm) is Randaberg's first fruit farm. The farm started converting from grass production to apple production in 2010, but it was only in 2014 that the farm started selling juice and jelly in their self-service farm shop.

The special thing about Sandalen Gård is that all its fruit is sold at the farm or via various local farm outlets; only the cider and some varieties of juice are sold through wholesalers. This means that we can sell Class 1 fruit directly to the consumers. Our main apple varieties are Rubinstep, Red Aroma, Discovery, Santana and Rubinola, but we also grow more exclusive varieties such as Ellis Bitter, Somerset Redstreak, Katja, Julka, Rosette, Freya, Wellant, Tohoku 2 and Asfari. This diversity is important part of making products that taste a bit different.
