NORDRE NES
The farm Nordre Nes is located in a beautiful fruit landscape at Nesodden, facing the lake Norsjø in Telemark. This area has a particularly good climate for fruit farming, and the farm has grown apples for sale for over 100 years. Alongside the apples, we also grow pears, plums, and grains. We make our own apple juice and apple cider, grow flowers for cutting, and have a small farm shop. The farm Nordre Nes is called Prestgarden (rectory/priest’s farm) by older people, and the name of our cider "Prestgard" is based on this. The farm is not a rectory anymore, but according to local history, this was the rectory of the Nes parish before the Black Death.
