Lofthus Ekspedisjon was established in 2005 and has been in continuous operation as a popular meeting place for adventurers and visitors.

We wish to be a meeting place, a cultural arena, where we convey cultural history and offer local products such as cider from Hardanger, apple juice, beer and local food.

We focus on being a place that is open all year round. Lofthus Ekspedisjon wishes to offer quality on every level and is an important part of maintaining our vibrant rural community. With our own microbrewery, we produce beer, apple cider and apple juice based on local traditions and craftsmanship. We are a permanent part of Sidersafari, and we welcome small and large groups for tastings and tours, where we proudly present the cultural history linked to agriculture and traditional food and drink in Hardanger.
