Our farm is often called "Prestgarden" (“the rectory”), which is why we call our apple cider Prestgard. Prestgard is an organic apple cider made from Discovery apples.

The cider is sparkling, dry, acidic and fresh, with a clear apple taste. To make "Prestgard", we pour freshly pressed, unpasteurized apple juice into a tank, and then it gets a nice, long fermentation process through the autumn and winter. The fermentation starts quickly, and the wild yeast turns the apple juice into cider. Our cider is therefore spontaneously fermented. The wild yeast is the natural yeast from the apple peel, but it can also be from the barn where the cider is made.
