\n\t\tHARDANGERBONDEN\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

On the east side of S\u00f8rfjorden in Hardanger lies Sekse. The Hardanger Farmer\n(Hardangerbonden) Ingrid, the farm helper B\u00e5rd, the oldest girl and heir Ida, and the youngest\ngirl Tuva live here.<\/p>\n

On the farm, they grow apples that are processed in the cidery. The cidery is in the middle of\nthe yard, and this is where all of the production happens.<\/p>\n

As a teacher and a petroleum engineer, the farmer and her helper originally did not plan on\nrunning a farm. Serious illness in the family made their plans change, and they ended up as\nfruit farmers. The farmer and her helper love working outdoors, and life at the farm is busy,\nbut good. They have now run the farm since 2014, and the cidery was established in 2021.<\/p>\n

The products are named after people who have played an important part in the life of the\nHardanger farmer. On the bottles, you can read the stories of these people. The ciders are\nmade from pure apple varieties to highlight the unique flavour of each variety. The cidery has\na farm shop and a cider room for tasting.<\/p>\n
