\n\t\tAsn\u0101te Ziemele – Latvian Country Tourism Association & Baltic cider network\n\t<\/h3>\n\tIn 1993, Asn\u0101te established the Latvian Rural Tourism Association. The association is involved in
\nEurogites, which is the European rural tourism association, and in ECEAT, which is the association for
\necological and agricultural tourism in Europe. She also represents the Baltic Cider network.
\nThe Baltic region is home to many apple orchards, no wonder cider has quickly become one
\ngrowing culture there.
\nSeveral initiatives have been launched such as the Baltic Cider Awards to recognize the quality of ciders
\nproduced in the Baltics and celebrate together with professionals the variety of flavors offered by
